The next 2022 Aston Martin Vanquish is reviving the iconic Vanquish name for their entry-level, mid-engine series-production supercar. This is the fourth model in Aston Martin’s mid-engine series following the Valkyrie, the Valkyrie AMR Pro, and the AM RB 003. It sends Aston Martin into the mid-engine which was previously defined by the likes of McLaren, Lamborghini, and Ferrari.

This Aston Martin’s car comes with the great aluminium structure and body. It gives the car a very sleek and minimalistic look that feels very chic. This is not going to sharing the carbon tub like the Valkyrie or 003 which will be the reason for the drastically different prices between this 003 and Valkyrie. It will be sharing the V6 engine from 003 albeit in a slightly different tune.

On the back of the car, there is a huge diffuser that is taken from the 003. Also, instead of using the carbon construction, the Vanquish is using bonded aluminium chassis which is more akin to the construction the AM is using in its current road cars.

Engine Options

For power, it will use a version of the turbocharged V6 engine from the forthcoming AM-RB 003. And the Vanquish will be made from bonded aluminium, in a contrast to many other midengined supercars that use all-carbon construction.

This new Vanquish will use an electrified, twin-turbocharged, 3.0-litre six-cylinder developed in-house at Aston Martin. Even so, with a lot more power and torque expected in order for the Vanquish to stand above the Vantage and battle the Ferrari F8 Tributo, McLaren 720 S, and Lamborghini Huracán, buyers could again face abridged output. Aston Martin hasn’t said a word about figures, but the F8 and 720 S already crest 700 hp and bring 568 lb-ft.

Pricing

The price still a mystery, there no word from the company about how much the car will value, However according to our source, the price should start at around $450,000, putting $300,000 in daylight between it and the current Vantage. Variants to follow include the sun-kissed Volante convertible and the obligatory hardcore AMR model.
