Our photos spotted a refurbished Palisade in February, but we can now confirm that the exterior will be completely redone.All of the bumpers, grilles, headlights, wheels, and mirrors will be replaced. The Palisade does not appear to be very different in photographs from the paper, but the bottom frame of the grille is thinner. The outside photographs highlighted in yellow look to be of the pre-facelift model, with the highlighted parts indicating where improvements will be made. Rainforest will be removed from the color palette, and Robust Emerald will be added in its place. New features include auto-dimming side mirrors with integrated turn signals.Hyundai will introduce a new XRT level to match the trend of robust moderate off-roaders like the Honda Passport TrailSport, but the SEL Convenience trim will be phased out. Dark 20-inch alloys, “rugged” lower bumpers with skid plate inserts, a dark grille finish, higher roof rails, and a power sunroof will all be standard on the XRT. All-wheel drive will be available as an option, and a new Tow Mode has been added.

In the cabin, there will be even more drastic modifications. A 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation will replace the existing eight- and 10.25-inch touchscreens. Dynamic speech recognition, a full-display rearview mirror, hydrophobic windows, remote smart park assist, the Digital Key 2.0, and Bluelink upgrades are all new, albeit some trim-specific features are available.It appears that the interior styling and quality will be raised a notch or two. The top dashboard, instrument cluster, floor console trim, steering wheel, and seating surfaces, according to the document, are all new.
